I like how you're all on your boards today 9  I'm Doctor Meg Kelly suck I'm one of the co-founders in the Synergy academies  Synergy operates three free public charter school and Elementary School a middle school and high school located in South Los Angeles low-income Latino or African-American when I was searching for a job I definitely knew I wanted to work in the inner city somewhere in Los Angeles and I said okay if I'm going to be a teacher I want to teach in the Inner City I knew that I wanted to be at a place that was doing something a little bit different for a lot of kids this is a safe place they can come here they can be happy and have fun and learn looking for the right fit to join our family we want teachers who believe in these kids know they can do it when I took the tour to just felt so comfortable if the there's no gimmicks it was just pure teaching they had such high expectations for their kids and I wanted to be a part of that I was a former teacher myself and I know it girls like to show up to work and wonder is this really the profession that was meant for me will work very closely together to all of us together batting around ideas which is bigger if not only with your colleagues at your own grade level the other grade levels here as well  have direct impact on Apple policy has a hole this is an incredible opportunity our goal is to show that teaching can be exciting that schools can be engaging places and you can't have meaning in your life you have to be ready to roll at Cinergy have to be ready to work cuz the kids are ready to work and the kids will push you this it is Harry burn to get to College like study that likes to take no to class teacher even asked me to the family song here they respect the teacher so much see them as part of the family they will work with the kids because they want a better future for them I would like to send Century University we do college Fridays every Friday we present a college and university a community college just for them to know their options we probably haven't heard about that's Highland about Princeton they said it was really quiet it has a huge library because I like to eat or doing the middle school because we want to be awareness and we want to make sure that every child has an opportunity to select the College of their choice I think what separates us from everyone else is that we know what we're going for my name is synergy team because we what can make an impact will you get us a t-shirts in is turn into a high achiever kids that are really determine really outgoing and have a lot of potential new wouldn't believe it willing to learn
