Synergy Students Win Special Scholarships

Synergy is honored that its founders and supporters have donated a variety of scholarships for Synergy's high school students to attend college or to attend special summer college programs.

Synergy donors Michael Nissman and Lane Rankin each donated $2000 to support two Synergy high school students to attend special college programs this summer. Thanks to these two donations, Osvaldo A. will be attending USC's Summer Program and Fernando G. will be attending the National Association of Peer College Advisors (NAPCA) Summer Program at UC Berkeley.

Lisbette A., who will be studying engineering at UC Berkeley this fall, won $400 from the Shannon STEM Scholarship, donated by Synergy Co-Founder Dr. Barbara Shannon and her husband, David Shannon.

Bryant V. and Emily R., who will both attend UCLA, won $1000 each from the Angela Hou Lin Memorial Scholarship fund that was created by the family of Synergy Co-Founder Dr. Meg Palisoc in memory of her mother who passed away in 2012.
