About the Foundation
Expanding Opportunity for Synergy Scholars
The Synergy Education Foundation was established to support Synergy Academies and help create life-changing opportunities for students in South Los Angeles.
Synergy’s three public charter STEM schools serve more than 1,300 students in grades TK–12. Nearly all Synergy graduates are first-generation college students. In a community where only 6% of residents hold a four-year college degree, Synergy students are making the quantum leap to college and future success.
The Foundation helps sustain and expand this work by connecting donors, families, alumni, and community partners with opportunities to invest directly in student success.

What We Support
College Scholarships: We help provide scholarships that support Synergy graduates as they pursue higher education and work toward college completion.
Student Opportunity: We expand access to enrichment programs, leadership experiences, college readiness opportunities, and learning beyond the classroom.
Educational Excellence: We invest in programs and resources that strengthen student achievement, support STEM learning, and prepare students for college, career, and civic life.
Why It Matters
Synergy Academies exists to disrupt educational inequity by providing high-quality instruction, access, and support so all students can excel. The Foundation extends this mission by mobilizing community investment to remove barriers and expand opportunity.
- 1,300+ students served across Synergy's TK-12 public charter schools in South Los Angeles.
- Nearly all Synergy graduates will be first-generation college students. Synergy students are building new pathways for themselves, their families, and their communities.
- Making college dreams a reality for Synergy graduates who have gone on to attend colleges and universities including USC, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Columbia, Duke, Yale and many more.
